Free Beginner Crochet Sweater/Cardigan Pattern for Women

This crochet sweater is sure to be the most distinctive item in your closet. Stitched in Caron Sweetie Cake, this boxy, slightly cropped pullover is worked in pieces from side to side with no shaping. Interesting texture comes from using double crochet in the front and back loops, while a fringe is added for flair once the pieces are seamed together. Perfect for beginners, you’ll practice a variety of techniques to keep you engaged. This comfy top is just as much fun to make as it is to wear!
