Free Intermediate Knit Afghans/Blankets Pattern for Home

It doesn’t get any cozier than a fisherman’s rib knit blanket to keep the chill away! Created in the soft chenille texture of Bernat Future Hope, this boldly striped layer is worked in one piece, with its luxurious texture created by knitting into the stitch below. The result is an irresistibly plush rib that’s as beautiful as it is comforting. Practice knit, purl, knit 1 below, and more. Once you experience this sumptuous fabric, this cushy stitch is sure to become a favorite for this blanket, and beyond.
