Free Sewing Long Dog Shirt Pattern

Appliqué both ends of the dog with Coats & Clark(TM) all-purpose thread. Use a new shirt or thrift one. Once appliquéd, the shirt will not stretch, so make sure to select a shirt that is large enough to pull on without stretching.

• ½ yd (46cm) dog sweater fabric.
• ¼ yd (23cm) dog head/tail fabric.
• ½ yd (46cm) grosgrain ribbon, 5⁄8" (1.5cm) wide.
• Paper-back fusible web.
• Pattern tracing cloth.
• Seam sealant (optional).

*The appliqué makes the shirt less stretchy, so it’s best to purchase a size larger than you normally wear to accommodate the lack of stretch.
